Chennai: MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings will be eager to return to winning ways after earning just a point from the last three games and will look to get their campaign back on track when they host a reinvigorated Mumbai Indians at their home ground on Saturday. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Super Kings lost the two matches they played against five-time champions MI in 2019 and will be playing their arch-rivals at home after nearly four years.

CSK head into Saturday's game on the back of a rained off fixture against LSG and two losses. Skipper Dhoni looked solid in the nets but the talismanic wicketkeeper has so far batted way too low down the order, but has smacked a few out of the park to boost the score. However, as many wonder, it remains a mystery as to why he does not promote himself up the order.

Bowling coach Dwayne Bravo still has a few loose screws to tighten in the bowling department. Jadeja, who has been brilliant with the ball though not so with the bat, like always would be key for CSK along with fellow spinners. But the bowling department has been boosted with the return of Deepak Chahar. However, bowlers like Tushar Deshpande leaking runs despite picking up wickets has hurt the team's cause.

While for MI Rohit Sharma's team has gained impetus but his form has been a concern as runs have not come from his blade so far. Mumbai Indians, after a sluggish start, have slowly gathered momentum, making short work of tall orders.

Apart from Rohit, if other batters fire as they have shown signs to, the Super Kings bowlers would have a huge task on hand. With CSK at 11 and MI at 10 in a tight contest for points and securing spots in the play-offs, Saturday's game at MA Chidambaram promises an interesting battle. (PTI)
