Women's T20 Challenge: Supernovas win toss, elect to bat against Trailblazers

Supernovas have to win today's match with better Net Run Rate to qualify in the final. The defending champions of Women's T20 Challenge lost their first match by five wickets to Velocity, who lost to Trailblazers by 9 wickets in the second match.

Sharjah: In the crucial third match of Women's T20 Challenge, Harmanpreet Kaur of Supernovas won the toss and decided to bat first against Trailblazers here at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Supernovas have to win today's match with better Net Run Rate to qualify in the final. The defending champions of Women's T20 Challenge lost their first match by five wickets to Velocity, who lost to Trailblazers by 9 wickets in the second match on Thursday.

On the other hand, Smriti Mandhana's Trailblazers look for a win to confirm their place in the final with a win against Supernovas.

Smriti: I wanted to field first and my toss record is not that great and even in the last game it didn't go our way, but Im happy to bowl first. We got a day off yesterday just had a small team meeting and watched the men's IPL, some rest and ready for tonight's game. It looks like a better wicket than the one day before. We are going with the same team.

Harmanpreet: We will bat first. It's a must-win game for us and we thought if we bat first it will be an advantage for us as we have added one extra spinner to our team. All of us are having a good time in the nets. Change of pace is key as a bowler.
