IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals win toss, opt to bowl against SRH

18-year-old Jammu & Kashmir all-rounder Abdul Samad makes his IPL debut. Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner handed him the cap. SRH also brought in Kane Williamson in place of Mohammad Nabi for Tuesday's encounter.

Abu Dhabi: Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field first in the 11th match of IPL 2020 against Sunrisers Hyderabad here at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Tuesday. DC are currently standing at the top of the points table with two wins from two matches while SRH are still searching for their first win in the IPL 2020. SRH lost both of their matches in the ongoing season.

Delhi Capitals defeated Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings in their previous two matches. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a nightmarish start to their campaign losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.

David Warner- Not too disappointed with that, we fell short by 20-30 runs, we now have the bowling to defend scores. Two changes for us - KW comes in for Nabi, Samad for Saha. We have our plans for the bowling group, just need to stick to it

Shreyas Iyer - We will bowl first, the dew might play a role in the second innings. Our preparations and training has been on point, the frame of mind is good. One change for us - Ishant comes in for Avesh Khan. Each one know their roles in the team well, they have stood up for the cause.

Pitch report:This pitch has already been used. It has been batsmen's paradise so far, but spinners will get plenty of assistance from the slow and cracky conditions.
