Hyderabad: Jwala Singh, the childhood coach of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who will play his first IPL season for Rajasthan Royals, has had a special conversation with ETV Bharat. Jwala feels Yashasvi will come good in Rajasthan Royals' opening match against Chennai Super Kings.
"Yashvi is graduating from junior cricket to senior cricket, so he has a lot of things to prove right now. I think he will debut in the IPL today," Jwala said.
Talking about Yashasvi's batting in the UAE conditions, Jwala said, "All the players are coming off from a long break. Only England, Australia, West Indies and Pakistan have played a few matches. Any good player can get himself ready for professional cricket within 20-25 days. However, there is a different pressure during the match. I think Yashasvi will do well. He takes a little time in the beginning but scores when he is set. "
Jwala also talked about IPL debutants Ravi Bishnoi and Priyam Garg, and he feels Yashasvi too will get to play his first IPL match on Tuesday. The trio played the U-19 World Cup final against Bangladesh earlier in 2020.
