Harbhajan Singh bore the responsibility to pierce through the RCB top order that helped CSK to turn the match in their favour from the very beginning of the proceeding.

Harbhajan finished the match with a figure of 3 for 20 in four overs. His victims were Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali.

His outstanding performance against RCB earned him the coveted Man of the Match award.

Harbhajan was ably supported by Imran Tahir and Ravindra Jadeja who shared five wickets between them to decimate the visitors for a paltry total.

The discarded India spinner was visiblyhappy with his exploits at Cheapuk.

“I have learnt quite a lot sitting next to you, Sunny bhai (Sunil Gavaskar) and all the legends who were in the commentary team,” Harbhajan said while speaking to Sanjay Manjrekar.

“This is a special award from me. It goes to my wife and family,” he said.

Harbhajan Singh has not been on BCCI selectors' radar for quite some time now. Of late, he grabbed commentators' job for many recent international matches.

“You cannot ask for a better start. Since they have a lot of left-handers, (CSK coach) Fleming came and told me I will be playing. It was nice to get a wicket up front and once you have it, your confidence level grows up. Imran bowled really well and it’s always nice to get wickets of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. How often an offspinner gets their wickets!," Harbhajan signed off.
