• Chennai Super Kings is the most successful team in IPL history as they have won 91 matches out of 150 and have a success percentage of 60.67.
• On the other hand, RCB have managed to win only 79 matches out of 169.

• CSK and RCB have locked horns with each other for 23 times out of which Dhoni's Chennai won 15 matches, while Kohli's Bangalore emerged victorious in just seven games.

• RCB's swashbuckling batsman AB de Villiers needs 47 more runs to become the 2nd overseas player to score 4000 IPL runs after David Warner.
• Suresh Raina (4985) and Virat Kohli (4948 ) will be clashing in the IPL 2019 opener to become the first player to reach 5000 runs in the IPL.
• Raina needs 15, while Virat requires 52 runs to reach the milestone. Also, Kohli needs 95 more runs to complete 8000 runs in Twenty20 cricket. Only Raina (8009) has 8000+ T20 runs among Indian players.
