Chennai: Indian skipper Virat Kohli could face a one-match suspension for breaching ICC's Code of Conduct. Kohli got involved in an argument with umpire Nitin Menon after the umpire's call went in favour of England captain Joe Root.
In the final over of day three of the second Test, Root managed to survive an LBW appeal off the bowling of Axar Patel. The delivery hit Root on the back of his pad before it was caught by wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant.

As umpire Nitin Menon declared him not out, India went for a review but Ultra Edge showed nothing. However, the ball-tracking showed that the impact in front of the stumps. But, the decision still went in Root's favour as the ball had landed outside off and the TV umpire asked Menon to stick to his original decision.
Kohli immediately walked towards umpire Nitin Menon and had a heated chat with him.
