CWC'19 SL vs IND: Sri Lanka post 264/7 despite losing early wickets

Leeds: Sri Lanka managed to post 264/7 at the end of their allotted 50 overs, despite losing four early wickets. Angelo Mathews meanwhile scored his 3rd ODI ton which is incidently his 3rd ODI ton against India as well.

Lahiru Thirimanne also played a crucial knock of 53 from 68 deliveries as the duo of Mathews and Thirimanne stitched on a 124-runs parnership that steadied the Lankan innings.

Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for Team India as the speedster picked up 3 important wickets, which included the wickets of both of the Sri lankan openers alomg with the precious wicket of centurion Angelo Mathews.

India would now need to chase down the target of 265 to go top of the table.
