Birmingham: Indian opener Rohit Sharma became the first Indian to score 4 centuries in single edition of a World Cup. Enroute to 104, Rohit further broke numerous records that are mentioned below:

• 1st Indian to score 4 WC centuries in single edition
• 2nd Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to score 500+ runs in single edition of WC
• 3rd consecutive Hundred vs Bangladesh in ICC Events (137 in WC 2015 & 123 in CT 2017)
