Chandigarh: In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, former cricketer Yograj Singh slammed former India skipper, MS Dhoni and head coach Ravi Shastri for their role in India's shocking defeat to New Zealand.
Amid India's semi-final loss at the hands of New Zealand, former cricketer Yograj Singh who also happens to be the father of 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh criticised India Coach Ravi Shastri and former skipper MS Dhoni asking them how will they face god after death.
Criticizing Dhoni, Yograj asked why didn't Dhoni attacked in the same manner Ravindra Jadeja was attacking the Kiwi bolwers. He further alleged that this was due to a simple reason which was that Dhoni feared getting out.
He further alleged that it was Dhoni who made sure Yuvraj didn't get chance in both the 2015 and the 2019 World Cup. He further slammed the selectors of favouritism claiming that they select players without judging them properly.
Claiming Dhoni and Shastri to be of same breed, he further alleged that the duo didn't select players who were performing exceptionally. He further asked the duo of Shastri and Dhoni how will they face god and even claimed that god is taking a note of all the wrongdoings that the duo have committed.
