Team physio Patrick Farhart rushed to the ground and have a look at his thumb. Later, he was seen applying a spray on Kohli's finger.
The 30-year-old batsman had his thumb immersed in a glass of ice water while leaving the ground.

With Men in Blue set to play at least nine matches in the ongoing World Cup, the team management would have to take a bold call if Kohli's thumb injury is serious.
India will take on South Africa on June 5.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal is uncertain for his team's first match against South Africa on June 2. Tamim suffered a wrist injury at the nets.
