London: Kane Williamson-led New Zealand thrashed India by six wickets with 12.5 overs to spare as Ross Taylor struck 71 runs on Saturday in a warm-up game before the ICC World Cup 2019, here, at the Kennington Oval.
Chasing a paltry total of 180 runs to win, Jasprit Bumrah kept India in the hunt by removing Collin Munro in the second over of the innings.

Batting at number three Kane Williamson joined Martin Guptill at the crease in 2nd over and the duo added 29 runs for the second wickets before Hardik Pandya removed the Kiwi openers from the attack.
Ross Taylor joined his skipper in the middle after Guptill's departure.
Yuzvendra Chahal removed Kiwi skipper but it was a little too late as the Black Caps needed just 29 runs to win. Williamson smashed 67 runs off 87 balls with the help of four fours and one six.
After Williamson's departure, Taylor almost guided Kiwis to victory before Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him in the 37th over when the score was equal.
Taylor's 71 run knocks was laced with eight boundaries.
Henry Nicholls hit the winnings runs for his side as Blackcaps thrashed much fancied Indian side by six wickets.
Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson Earlier, Indian batters cut out a sorry figure in English conditions in their first warm-up match against New Zealand as they huffed and puffed their way to 179 runs before getting bowled out.
Apart from all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, no Indian cricketer was able to counter Kiwi bowlers. Jadeja smashed 54 runs off 50 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli opted to bat first and soon the decision back-fired as Kiwi pace sensation Trent Boult shattered India's batting lining up by removing Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul within six overs.
Virat Kohli scored 18 runs before Colin de Grandhomme got better of him. Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni put India back on track as the duo added 38 runs for the fifth wickets. James Neesham removed Pandya in his very first over before he could have done any damage.
Pandya scored 30 runs off 37 balls with the help of four fours. MSD was removed by Tim Southee when he was batting at 17.
Kuldeep Yadav scored crucial 19 runs for India.
Trent Boult was the standout performer for New Zealand with the bowl. He bagged four wickets giving away just 33 runs in 6.2 overs.
James Neesham bagged three wickets while Tim Southee, Colin de Grandhomme and Lockie Ferguson bagged one wicket each.
