Women's T20 Challenge: Mithali's Velocity debuts against Mandhana's Trailblazers

Jaipur:After a nail-biting opening match in the Women's T20 Challenge, now the focus will be on Mithali Raj's Velocity as they lock horns with Smriti Mandhana's Trailblazers at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, here.

This will be the Velocity team's first match of the season and they will be keen to make an impact straight away. Mithali's team is studded with some great international talents like Danielle Wyatt, Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr and Jahanara Alam with Veda Krishnamurthy another experienced cricketer in her line-up.

Trailblazers, on the other hand, will look to continue on winning ways and repeat last night’s performance. Captain Smriti Mandhana struck a brilliant 90 off 67 balls and their bowlers held their nerves despite a late onslaught by Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Monday.

The last match was played in the evening while this match will be played in the afternoon thus this will definitely affect the game. The temperature at Jaipur is 40 degrees Celcius.
