Pakistan: Dozens of people protested in front of Sarfaraz Ahmed's home on Sunday after the Pakistan Cricket Board removed the wicket-keeper batsman as country's skipper in test and Twenty20 cricket.
Sarfaraz was not present in his house as he was busy playing in the domestic National T20 Cup in Faisalabad.
- Protestors chanted slogans against the head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq and demanded country's prime minister Imran Khan to restore Sarfaraz as captain.
- The PCB sacked Sarfaraz as captain last Friday in the wake of Pakistan's 3-0 whitewash at the hands of second-string Sri Lanka at Lahore last week.
- Babar Azam has been appointed as skipper for the Twenty20 format and Azhar Ali as captain for the test matches.
Also, Sarfaraz was dropped from the team as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced their 16-man T20I and Test squad for their upcoming Australia tour.
