Hardik Pandya has been sitting out of the Indian cricket team due to injury.

Nagpur: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and India's Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari were spotted playing cricket at the ‘Khasdar Krida Mahotsav' event in Nagpur on Friday with Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

The duo was photographed bowling to Hardik Pandya during the event. And a video of the same is winning the internet.

Interestingly, it is not the first time that Gadkari was caught with a bat and a ball in his hand. Earlier on Monday, the Union Minister had shown off his cricketing skills at a ground in Nagpur’s Chatrapati Nagar.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has been sitting out of the Indian cricket team due to injury. And his return to mainstream cricket has been delayed as Pandya reportedly failed the fitness test on Saturday. Pandya was expecting to return to the Indian team after recovering from back surgery.

Pandya was named for India A team's tour of New Zealand which will be followed by India senior team's full-fledged series Down Under. He has been replaced by Tamil Nadu all-rounder Vijay Shankar.
