Nottingham:India continued their preparations at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Wednesday, ahead of their third match of the World Cup against New Zealand.
Much of the talk has been about the weather leading to the match day, with rain forcing both the teams to practice indoors on Tuesday.
Virat Kohli utilised the narrow window of opportunity that was available on Wednesday morning for batting practice along with the players who may fill in for the injured Shikhar Dhawan.
Dhawan, who took a blow on his finger from Pat Cummins in the match against Australia, will stay with the team and was seen watching his teammates in training.
India have called up Rishabh Pant as a replacement. The wicketkeeper batsman is expected to arrive in England on Wednesday.
