Graeme Smith is the most successful test captain in test history (53 test wins) and also the only captain to have registered 50+ test wins, having overtaken Ricky Ponting's 48 Test victories. He's the only player to captain a team in 100 Tests.

Cape Town: South Africa's Director of Cricket, Graeme Smith, was stopped in full flow while speaking to the media on Friday. Carrying a plastic bat Smith's seven-year-old son, Carter, needed to have his shoelace tied during the video call.

Carter Smith: "Daddy."

Graeme Smith: "Sorry, my little man's arrived. And so, yeah... get as much cricket played."

Carter Smith: "My shoelace."
