Cape Town: South Africa's Director of Cricket, Graeme Smith, was stopped in full flow while speaking to the media on Friday. Carrying a plastic bat Smith's seven-year-old son, Carter, needed to have his shoelace tied during the video call.

"...and then, our women have started a series now in South Africa against the Pakistan Women. We're grateful for the support of that..."

Carter Smith: "Daddy."

Graeme Smith: "Sorry, my little man's arrived. And so, yeah... get as much cricket played."

Carter Smith: "My shoelace."

Graeme Smith: "Sorry, I'm just tying his shoelace."

Questioner: "Dad duty - always on call."

Graeme Smith: "See, you can hide anywhere in the house but they'll find you."
