Hyderabad: The Sunrisers Hyderabad won their first match of 2019 edition of IPL by beating the visitors Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Even though it was not a great day for SRH bowlers as Sanju Samson smashed the first hundred of 2019 IPL, their batsmen brought them back into the game.

Sanju, while smashing a ton became only the fourth Indian batsman to have more than on IPL hundred. So, let us look at some interesting stats from the match number 8 of IPl 2019.

1. Thrice on this ground, the targets of 199 or more has been successfully chased in IPL. Bangalore's M Chinnaswamy which is a high scoring ground has seen the target of 199 or more getting chased down 3 times in IPL.

2. SRH opener gave their team a much-needed start by smashing a 100 run opening stand. This is the eighth 100+ opening stand for SRH in IPL. David Warner is involved in all of them.

3. SRH is a team known for its extraordinary bowling attack. The team on many occasions have defended below par total but in the last two seasons of IPL batsmen have scored 6 centuries and five of them scored against SRH.

4. Sanju Samson became the first to score 2 centuries in IPL before turning 25 years of age. He is also only fourth Indian to have more than 2 ton under his belt.
