Manchester: Rain has already wreaked havoc at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and on Saturday the weather forced Pakistan to train indoors ahead of their big match against arch-rivals India at Old Trafford in Manchester.
With criticism mounting on the scheduling of the tournament, the authorities were seen doing their best to get the ground prepared for possibly the most-watched match of this World Cup.
A mobile lighting rig, which emanates halogen light, was seen being used to dry up the outfield.
The pitch and the square, however, were under covers as rain continued to fall in Manchester. The weather is expected to intervene on Sunday with a truncated match the most likely outcome.
Pressure is building on Pakistan - they need to get their campaign back on track after suffering their second defeat of the tournament in their previous match.
