Key stats ahead of the KKR vs SRH game

Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second encounter of 2019 edition of Indian Premier League at its home ground Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Kane Williamson who took SRH in final of last years' edition will look to start the new season on a high while. On the other hand, KKR who got kicked out by SRH last year in the second qualifier will try to take the revenge.

Both the teams have a great spin attack as KKR has the mystery spinner in the name of Sunil Narine and SRH has world's best T20 bowler Rashid Khan. So, it is going to be a spin war between these two teams.

SRH debuted in IPL in 2013 after the Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers were terminated by the IPL. Since then the team has played 94 matches of which they have won 54 at a success percentage of 57.

On the other hand, KKR the champions of 2012 and 2014 IPL, has played 168 matches of which they have won 86.

Talking about head to head matches SRH had the better of KKR on nine times out of 15 matches in which both the teams have locked horns. Knight Riders have won just six matches out of 15.

But in the last six matches between these two teams, the competition got tough as both the sides have won three games each.

While playing at the home ground against SRH, KKR has won 5 games while Men in Orange emerged victorious in just two games.
