Jasprit Bumrah ties knot with Sanjana Ganesan

Both Sanjana and Bumrah posted pictures of the duo during the ceremony on Monday on Instagram.

Hyderabad: Ace Indian seamer Jasprit Bumrah on Monday tied the knot with model-turned sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in a private ceremony in Goa. The duo made the announcement via social media.

Both Bumrah and Sanjana posted pictures from the ceremony on different social networking sites.

“Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you,” Sanjana & Jasprit's Instagram post read.

Last month, Bumrah had asked BCCI to release him from the Indian squad after Virat Kohli-led Team won the third Test in two days. After Bumrah's request, the speculations regarding his wedding started doing rounds on the internet. However, neither Bumrah nor Sanjana confirmed anything in the lead-up.

Bumrah is expected to return to field duties in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier, which starts on 9th April.
