Hyderabad: 2007 World T20 winning India cricketer Irfan Pathan has bade adieu all forms of cricket on Saturday. The 35-year-old left-arm pacer, who last played for India in 2012, created unique records that no other cricketer ever reached. Some of his records in international cricket might even remain untouched for many years.

- Irfan Pathan is the only bowler who scalped 9 wickets in U-19 cricket. His 9 for 16 against Bangladesh is still the best bowling figure in Youth ODI. No other bowler has taken 9 wickets in an international 50-over match before or after him.
- Irfan Pathan is the only bowler to take a hat-trick in the first over of a Test match. He achieved the feat against Pakistan in the 2006 Karachi Test.
- Pathan is the only Asian player to win a Man of the Match award in a Test at WACA, Perth. He bagged this unique feat in 2008.
- He was adjudged Man of the Match in the maiden World T20 final in 2007 when his 3 for 16 restricted Pakistan to a below par total.
- Pathan is the fastest Indian to take 100 ODI wickets.
- He also took three hat-tricks for India across all international cricket.
