Hyderabad: The league stage of the Indian Premier League is over and now the teams are moving towards the business end of the league which is playoffs. Three teams have qualified with 18 points whereas one team qualified with just 12 points. This shows that this season has been a roller coaster ride for every team.
Some players have performed exceptionally whereas some have failed to live up to the expectation and before the next season starts the team management might look to release some underperformed players.

8. Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj, the fast bowling sensation after having an exceptional year with Sunrisers Hyderabad got the maiden Indian call in 2017. But the right arm speedster has failed to live up to the expectation as he could only take 7 wickets in 9 matches that he played. He was bought by Royal Challengers Banglore at a whopping price of 2.6 crores.
7. Jaydev Unadkat
The left-arm pacer Jaudev Unadkat, who leaked runs at an economy of 11, had one of the worst IPL seasons for Rajasthan Royals. He was picked for 11.5 crores and could only manage to clinch 10 wickets in the season. The left arm pacer has failed to perform for Rajasthan for the second consecutive season.
6. Karun Nayar
The Karnataka lad, Karun Nayar did not get enough chances to prove his worth in Kings XI Punjab squad. Even after performing in the last season the right-hand batsman played only one match this season and in it he scored five runs.
