IPL 2019, Qualifier 2: CSK win toss, opt to bowl against DC

DC have never played an IPL final and will face an uphill task against three-time champions CSK.

Visakhapatnam: Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl against Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2019 at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, here.

In the eliminator, DC defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday to set their Qualifier 2 clash with the CSK, who lost to Mumbai Indians in the Qualifier 1.

It should be noted that winner of today's game will play the final against Mumbai Indians, while the losing team will be knocked out.

Interestingly, DC have never played an IPL final and will face an uphill task against three-time champions CSK.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni-led CSK would look to fix their weakness while Delhi would look to be more consistent with the batting.

Talking about the teams then, DC plays with the same squad as of the last match, while there is one change for CSK as Shardul Thakur comes in place of Murali Vijay.
