Hyderabad:The Men in Blue are set to face South Africa in a three T20I series and as many Test matches which marks the beginning of their busy home season.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has thus announced a 15-man squad for the T20I series which is set to commence on September 15. Hardik Pandya is set to make his comeback in the team after the star all-rounder was rested for the whole Caribbean tour.
The selectors have however left out pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah giving them a much-needed break before a gruelling home season.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal too miss out from the squad, while Rahul Chahar, Navdeep Saini and Washington Sundar have retained their position in the squad after an impressive display against the Windies.
Shreyas Iyer and Manish Pandey too have managed to retain their place in the squad, whereas, MS Dhoni too doesn't find a place in the squad that boasts superstars such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul.
