Hyderabad: Team India played three back to back matches against New Zealand on Friday. India defeated New Zealand in two while the Kiwis won one match.

Virat Kohli's side defeated Kane Williamson's side by six-wicket while in Under-19 World Cup Men in Blue defeated Blackcaps by 44 runs however India A team lost to New Zealand A team by 29 runs.

  • NZ 'A' beat Ind 'A' by 29 runs in 2nd unofficial ODI

Krunal Pandya's quickfire 51 wasn't enough for India 'A' in the second unofficial ODI against New Zealand 'A' as they lost by 29 runs at the Hagley Oval on Friday.

Chasing 296, none of the India 'A' batters could get a big score and wasted their starts as the team managed 266 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their stipulated quota of 50 overs.

The home team rode on opener George Worker's brilliant 135 as most of their top-order batsmen failed to score. It was the late flourish from Cole McConchie and James Neesham who scored 56 and 33* respectively as New Zealand 'A' posted 295/7 after being put into bat.

  • Rahul, Iyer shine as India storm to 6-wicket victory against NZ in first T20I

Superb knocks by KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer helped India chased down the target of 204 against New Zealand in the first T20I of the five-match series at the Eden Park here on Friday. Rahul scored 56 and Iyer remained unbeaten at 58.

Chasing 204, India got off to a poor start as the side lost its opener Rohit Sharma (7) in the second over when Mitchell Santner sent him back to the pavilion in the second over.

India colts defeated New Zealand by 41 runs in their final match of the group stages of the ongoing U-19 Cricket World Cup here at Mangaung Oval.

With this win, India top Group A with six points from three matches. Now, the Boys in Blue will take on Australia in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, January 28.

Chasing 192, New Zealand got off to a quickfire start as openers Rhys Mariu and Ollie White put on 50 runs inside six overs. India finally got the breakthrough of White (14) in the sixth over as Ravi Bishnoi sent him back to the pavilion.
