EXCLUSIVE: Ravichandran Ashwin discloses about his future

Hyderabad:Ace Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Wednesday launched Gaudium Sportopia's cricket academy in collaboration with his Gen-Next Cricket Institute. Speaking exclusively to ETV Bharat, Ashwin went down memory lane and recalled how the game came into existence in his life.

'Ash', as he is fondly called by his teammates in the dressing room, also disclosed that he never dreamt of breaking various records that he has achieved, but only wanted to once don the Indian jersey.

Ashwin also stated that he cherishes all the 'ups' that he has experienced so far in his career while he never gets disappointed by the 'downs' that he has gone through in his career so far, mentioning that he rather tries to learn from them.

Ashwin also quipped that red-ball cricket is his primary alignment and since the red-ball game has taught him a lot as a player in his initial days, thus making a transition to the white-ball game has never been an issue to him.

In the interview, Ashwin also revealed about his future while also mentioning about his role model Venkataraghavan.
