New Zealand, on the other hand, came into the semi-finals with three back to back loss. In the match against India, their nerves were tested but Blackcaps managed to put the best foot forward and seal their final spot.

So, let us have a look at some of the top players to watch out for in the final.

1. Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson, the captain leading from the front, is the backbone of the New Zealand batting order. The right-hand batsman has solely carried Kiwis with 548 runs at an extra-ordinary average of 91.33 in 8 matches. The talismanic batsman has scored 2 Dady hundreds in this world cup. Kane's captaincy is also a strong point of New Zealand.

2. Trent Boult

Trent Boult, who became the first New Zealand bowler to pick up a World Cup hat-trick, is the x-factor of the Kiwi team. The left-arm pacer is capable of taking wickets up-front and in death as well. Boult has taken 17 wickets in nine matches so far which include two four-wicket hauls.

3. Jofra Archer

Batting has always been England's strength it was bowling which was their weakness before coming into this World Cup. Jofra Archer by taking 17 wickets in 10 matches took care of that weakness. He along with Mark Wood made England's pace attack dangerous. If England wins the trophy then Archer will be a strong contender for Man of The Series award.

4. Jason Roy

Even after playing just 7 matches, Jason Roy is England's third-highest run-scorer in the 2019 World Cup. When Roy got injured England lost the momentum and in the game against India, he made a comeback by giving a solid opening partnership along with Jonny Bairstow which lifted England's morale. Roy has smashed 426 runs with an average of 71.

5. Eion Morgan

In the 2015 World Cup England was knocked out early in the tournament and ever since that this English side has started playing a different brand of cricket. One of the main reason for the transformation was Eion Morgan's captainship. In this World Cup as well he has led the team superbly and with the bat, the left-hander has struck 362 runs at an average of 45.25.
