Southampton: Impressive perfomance by spinners, followed by disciplined batting by batters helped Australia end the England T20I series on a high by winning the third and final game by five wickets, here at The Rose Bowl stadium. However, England won the series 2-1
Chasing down the below-par score of 146, Australia had a decent start as they were 31/1 by the start of the fourth over. Opening batsman Matthew Wade was sent back to the dugout by Chris Jordan for the score of 14. On the other hand captain, Aaron Finch was looking in good touch as he smashed 39 runs in just 26 balls with the help of one maximum and four boundaries.
The visitors again stitched a partnership as Marcus Stoinis joined Aussie skipper in the middle. After scoring 26 of 18 balls Stoinis was dismissed by pacer Tom Curran. After that Aussies lost two quick wickets as Adil Rashid removed Finch and Maxwell.
