Kolkata: Indian pacers picked up two quick wickets to restrict Bangladesh at 7/2 at Tea on Day 2 of the Second Test. Both the wickets went to Ishant Sharma as The Tigers still trail by 234 runs.

Earlier, after being dominated in four sessions by the hosts, Bangladesh finally showed some character as the visitors picked up five quick wickets post-tea after picking up the new ball before India declared after a lead of 241 runs.

In the very second ball of the second session, Bangladesh speedster Abu Jayed sent Ravindra Jadeja back to the pavilion after dismissing him with a peach of a delivery. Soon Kohli was sent back by Ebadat Hossain after Taijul Islam picked a spectacular catch at fine leg.

Further wickets fell for India as the hosts gushed to a lead of 241 runs before Indian skipper decided to declare the Indian innings.

Virat Kohli was the top scorer for Team India after completing his 27th Test century. Cheteshwar Pujara (55) and Ajinkya Rahane (51) also contributed for India's massive lead.

Al-Amin Hossain and Ebadat Hossain picked up three wickets apiece while Abu Jayed managed two and spinner Taijul Islam managed one. With three and a half days remaining in the match, it will be an uphill task for the visitors to save yet another Test defeat.
