COVID-19 outbreak: Lockdown made Sushma Verma rediscover her talent

Shimla: Indian women cricket team’s wicket-keeper batswoman Sushma Verma is rediscovering her talent amid COVID-19 lockdown in the country enforced by the centre.

Sushma, also known as Dhoni of Himachal Pradesh, is refreshing her childhood memories by trying her hand at painting.

Sushma took to Twitter and in a series of Tweets wrote, “Lockdown made me rediscover my old hobby. Happily spending my time making paintings. #StayHomeSaveLives#StayHomeStaySafe"

“I urge all of you to draw and upload a picture to thank all the doctors, nurses, medical workers,and all others who are on the front lines in the fight against the Covid-19 virus. Lets join hand to motivate our frontline warriors. #CoronaWarriors#IndiaFightsCorona," Sushma wrote in another Tweet.

Sushma is a resident of Gadheri village of Sunni tehsil of Shimla.

Sushma is currently playing as a wicket-keeper for the India-A team.
