BCCI announces Team India's home season itineraries for 2019-20

India will host South Africa, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Windies, Australia from September 2019 to March 2020.

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced India's home season for 2019-20 season on Monday.

The seven-month long home season will see South Africa, Bangladesh, Windies, Zimbabwe and Australia visiting India for 5 Tests, 9 ODIs and 12 T20Is.

Freedom Trophy and Bangladesh's tour of India series itineraries.



It will start with the Freedom Trophy for the Gandhi-Mandela series that played between South Africa and India in September, which will be followed by a T20I and Test series against Bangladesh in November.

Windies and Zimbabwe's tour of India.



In December Windies will tour India for three-match ODI and T20I series. The series will be followed by Zimbabwe and Australis's tour of India in January.

Australia and South Africa will tour India for ODI series in 2020.



This home season will see Zimbabwe touring India for the first time after 2001-02 when India defeated them 2-0 in Tests and 3-2 in ODIs.

In March 2020, South Africa will visit India for the second time in the season for a three-match ODI series.



The five Tests to be played in 2019 season will be part of the Test Championship.
