Hyderabad: The Indian cricket team will be wearing 1992-style retro jersey for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) and T20 series against Australia.
Some media reports claimed that the Men in Blue will be donning new jersey in the white-ball format and their attire is seemingly inspired from 1992 World Cup kit.
The focus will now shift towards Australia tour after the just-concluded Indian Premier League even as the team will look to build on the historic win in the Test series in 2019. The side has already departed for the two-month-long tour on Wednesday.
The new kit will have a navy blue shade, a shift from the conventional sky blue colour that the team has been wearing in recent years.
Meanwhile, Cricket Australia on Wednesday also confirmed that their men's team will be wearing 'indigenous' jersey in the upcoming three-match T20I series against India.
