Mali were bowled out for mere 6 runs after nine overs. Out of their total runs, they just managed to score 1 run from the bat while rest of the runs came from extras.

In response to the 7 runs target, Rwanda's Antoinette Uwimbabazi and Nyirankundineza scored eight runs from four balls to notch a victory, breaking another record by winning with 116 balls remaining.
Mali, who are mostly comprised of debutantes, will face another stern test when they meet Rwanda later this week in the seventh game of the tournament.
