Asia Cup final 2023: India vs Sri Lanka - Mohammed Siraj stars as India lifts Asia Cup; thrashes Sri Lanka by 10 wickets

India thrashed Sri Lanka by 10 wickets to win the Asia Cup in a lop-sided final. This is India's 8th Asia Cup title and it was domination from the word go.

Two Asian cricketing giants, India and Sri Lanka will clash for the Asia Cup Trophy on September 17. Sri Lanka aims to defend their title and equal India's in Asia Cup title victories, India hopes to break their five-year trophy drought before World Cup 2023.

Colombo: Two sub-continent cricketing rivals, India and Sri Lanka are set to battle to crown the Asia Cup 2023 final at R. Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo. India is coming with a loss against Bangladesh whereas Sri Lanka coming with last ball win against Pakistan, hence it is expected to be a nail-biting contest.

Sri Lanka would look to equal India's record Asia Cup title wins whereas India would look to bring Asia Cup home after five years. Currently. India have won the most seven Asia Cup titles and Sri Lanka is the second on the list with six titles.

BCCI secretary and Asian Cricket Council President Jay Shah handed the winning Trophy to India skipper Rohit Sharma after which celebrations erupted among the team members.

Ishan Kishan ran a single as India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the an one-sided Asia Cup final. India chased 51 in just 6.1 overs to claim their eight Asia Cup in style. It was sheer dominance by the Men in Blue.
