Colombo: A comprehensive bowling performance helped India beat co-hosts Sri Lanka by 41 runs in their Super 4 Asia Cup 2023 game at the R Premdasa Stadium here on Tuesday. It was India's second successive win after beating arch-rivals Pakistan by 228 runs on Monday night at the same venue. India ended Sri Lanka's 13-match winning streak.

Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav dismissed last man Matheesha Pathirana (0) as India bundled out Sri Lanka for 172 in a low-scoring thriller. Kuldeep Yadav finished with fine figures of 4/43 as India recorded a 41-run win and laid one foot in the summit clash to be played on Sunday. Kuldeep Yadav also took his 150th ODI wicket.
