Mumbai: In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, producers and television actors have joined hands for Ekta Kapoor's short film which aims to spread awareness on the need to stay at home to stop the spread of the novel virus.

Ekta shared the video on different social media platforms and wrote, "These unprecedented times call for all of us to be alone, yet together! Here’s an attempt, a made-at-home video, for which all of us from the Television Fraternity got together to voice our solidarity and give hope."

Talking about the video, she said a leading portal, "The video is a collective effort by the television producers association of our country. The current scenario calls for us to be unified, now more than ever. And the common language is that of entertainment. We got all our top TV stars to partake in it so that it connects with people across. We are in this together and this is our endeavour to encourage people to stay home."

The video features many big stars of the Television industry like Anita Hassanandani, Aasif Sheikh, Aura Bhatnagar, Divyanka Tripathi, Erica Fernandes, Karan V Grover, Karan Jotwani, Karishma Tanna, Manish Paul, Mouni Roy, Parth Samthaan, Reem Shaikh, Rohitashv Gour, Sehban Azim, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shailesh Lodha, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Shukla, Srithi Jha, Surbhi Jyoti, and Vikram Singh Chauhan.

The video spreads an important message while sharing glimpses of popular TV stars. It aims to unite people in the government’s endeavour to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Producer JD Majethia said the portal, "Though TV industry is widely spread everyone connected from artist, technicians, workers to producers are always a phone call away, especially for their Fans. One message from Ekta Kapoor on producers group and here we have a Multi starring entertaining Quarantined film by the TV fraternity. Fans will enjoy this and get to understand the kind of time and efforts gone in making this film without any artists being under the same roof."

Talking about his experience, Remo D'Souza who is also seen in the video told the portal, "It was fun to be a part of this project," says the choreographer-turned-filmmaker who is working on a few scripts. "There is a lot of reading, brainstorming and writing happening."
