The trailer of the upcoming ALT Balaji series 'The Verdict-State Vs Nanavati' has been dropped by the makers and it seems to be an intriguing legal thriller.

Mumbai: The trailer of upcoming web series 'The Verdict-State Vs Nanavati' starring actors like Manav Kaul, Angad Bedi and Sumeet Vyas promises loads of thrill and excitement with an unpredictable plot.

The web series is based on one of the most sensational cases of 1959 in which a naval commander conspired to kill his wife's lover after knowing of her extra-marital affair.

It unfolds the mysterious case of Commander Kawas Manekshaw played by Manav Kaul who admits murdering his wife's lover Prem Ahuja portrayed by Viraf Patel.

Elli Avrram who plays the role of commander's wife Sylvia fits perfectly well into the character of a hapless wife whose character has been constantly questioned for her illegitimate affair at the courtroom.

It also puts forth the 'war of moralities' and 'war of communities' raged during the sensational case.

Sumeet Vyas and Angad Bedi who play lawyers Ram Jethmalani and Karl Khandalavala pack a punch with their impactful screen-presence.

The trailer reminds us of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Rustom' based on the events from the same case.
