Mumbai: A 42-year-old Tamil television actor recently killed her former boyfriend in front of her husband in Chennai.
As per news reports, the TV actor took his life by smashing his head with a log and a hammer.
A team of personnel rushed to Lakshmi’s house and sent Ravi to Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
The actress, identified as S. Devi, killed her former boyfriend at her sister's house in Kolathur.
If news reports are to be believed, the incident occurred during the early hours on Monday.
The reports stated that she allegedly killed her former boyfriend after he insisted her to resume their relationship.

Later, TV actor S. Devi surrendered to the police and a case of murder has been registered against her.
After an inquiry, the police also held her husband B Sankar, her sister S Lakshmi and Lakshmi's husband Sawariyar, who is 53, and charged them with the murder of the 38-year-old film technician M Ravi.
The accused have been sent to jail.
Eight years ago, the Madurai native Ravi, who lived and worked in Chennai, befriended Devi, who played small roles in TV serials. The two began their relationship then after, said a police officer, further adding that her husband Shankar and her family members came to know about their affair about two years ago.
