SRK on David Letterman's talk show to be aired on Oct 25

The single stand-alone episode starring Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, the much-awaited talk show of Letterman will be aired in a few days.

Mumbai: The special episode of David Letterman's talk show featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be aired on Netflix on October 25, 2019.

The Shah Rukh centred episode titled My Next Guest with David Letterman and Shah Rukh Khan was earlier speculated to hit the OTT platform on October 11.

The much-awaited talk show anchored by the American host David Letterman will have King Khan sharing his one of a kind story, starting with his journey starting from Delhi to overcoming boundaries and scaling new heights in showbiz.

In a recent interview, Shah Rukh said: "I've watched David Letterman's late-night talk show for years and I'm a huge fan of his style of interviewing. I'm thrilled, and honoured to share my story with him. That this is on Netflix is even more special - I'm working with the team on various projects and it's always been exciting partnering with them."

The stand-alone interview will be launched exclusively on Netflix to over 151 million members across 190 countries.

Presented as a stand-alone special on Netflix, the show will combine Letterman's in-depth conversations and in-the-field segments expressing his curiosity and humour.

Four months back, Shah Rukh shot an episode of Letterman's legendary chat show in May.

Thrilled and honoured to share his story, SRK gave Letterman a glimpse of what stardom feels like. He also brought him to India for Eid celebrations in June. It is believed that the moments were also documented for the episode.

Interviewing Shah Rukh in front of a live audience, Letterman said: "The best part of this job that Netflix has been happy to provide for me is to meet people. And after each one of these sessions, I think to myself, it is a very smart, very lovely person from whom I have learned things. You would maybe be at the top of that list."
