SidNaaz's relationship was 'deeper' than that of a married couple, says Rahul Mahajan

Rahul Mahajan has made a big revelation about Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's relationship. Though their sparkling chemistry was much evident the couple never announced their relationship officially. According to Rahul, Sidharth and Shehnaaz shared a bond that was stronger than that of a married couple.

Hyderabad: After the untimely demise of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, the fans of the late actor are concerned about his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill. While the much-loved Bigg Boss couple never made their relationship official, Rahul Mahajan has said that the two shared a bond that was 'stronger' and 'deeper' than what a married couple would share.

Rahul, who was also present at Sidharth's last rite in Mumbai on September 3, has told a news channel that he was "shivering" looking at Shehnaaz's condition who is in a state of denial and shock. "Seeing her condition and mental state I was shivering at the funeral," Rahul told the news channel. Rahul further said, "Jab Shehnaaz Gill aayi toh woh itni zor se cheekhi (when Shehnaaz arrived at the cremation ground, she yelled), 'mummy ji, mera bachcha, mummy ji, mera bachcha'. Shehnaaz was rubbing the feet of Sidharth’s mortal remains, without even realising that he is no more."

After Sidharth's demise, many reports suggested that the couple was already engaged and were planning to get married in December this year. Though they were not officially together in the public eye, Rahul said that Sidharth and Shehnaaz shared a very strong bond. The former Bigg Boss contestant said, "Their relationship was deeper and stronger than what even a husband and a wife share."

Shehnaaz's condition has been commented upon by a number of her industry friends. Jasleen Matharu, a former Bigg Boss contestant who had worked with Shehnaaz in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge has also spoken about her state. After visiting Sidharth's home, Jasleen said she had spoken to Shehnaaz and it seemed she was lost in some other world. She said: "I spoke to Shehnaaz but she is not in a good state. She was just sitting at one place, staring blankly, saying nothing, lost in her own world. I went up to her, tried talking, but all she did was ask me to sit next to her."

A popular face on television, Sidharth died at the age of 40 on Thursday.
