Hyderabad: During his Bigg Boss OTT journey, actor Raqesh Bapat was apparently perceived as a submissive partner to Shamita Shetty. Underlining Raqesh's trait, actor Kashmera Shah had 'congratulated' him for becoming a 'henpecked husband again.' Since Raqesh had no idea about what was being said about him, Ridhi Dogra, his ex-wife had asked Kashmera to refrain from making 'loose comments.' After coming out of the house, Raqesh has now addressed criticism and said he is not henpecked but a caring husband.
Former Bigg Boss contestant Kashmera on September 14 targeted Raqesh on social media and tweeted, "Congratulations @RaQesh19 you are on your way to becoming a henpecked husband…again." To this, Ridhi, who has been supportive of her former husband tweeted, "Again!? Excuse me. Kindly don't make loose comments. Peace out."

When a webloid asked Raqesh about how he looks at Kashmera's comments, he said: "I would say I’m not henpecked, I’m a caring husband because I always give my woman the space, the treatment, the respect and I don’t cross that. And I treat my woman like a queen and that’s what a man should do because there’s love and a lot of caring so somewhere I like to treat my people special and it doesn’t make you henpecked."
The 43-year-old further said just because he shows respect doesn’t make him weak. "It’s not about not taking a stand, it’s just that I ignore certain things and I do certain things for the person’s happiness. Henpecked and all are just names, I know what I am."
Bapat, who got eliminated on the finale night, was among the top five finalists in the Bigg Boss OTT house. Shamita was the second runner-up, the first being choreographer Nishant Bhat while Divya Agarwal was declared the winner of Bigg Boss OTT.
