Mumbai: Kapil Sharma's fourth-floor apartment in Oshiwara caught fire on Thursday. Reportedly, the fire broke out in the kitchen and was controlled in time.
According to a leading publication, the flames were confined to the kitchen and were stopped from spreading by the fire brigade.
Notably, Kapil has shifted to another apartment and hence the house is lying vacant. The residents living nearby the seven-storeyed building called the fire-brigade to avoid any mishap.

The fire fighters took control of the situation and the fire was doused within half an hour. A video of the fire break-out is going viral on social media.
However, the actor hasn't reacted to the news yet.
On the work front, Kapil is making comeback on the small screen with 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. The popular show has been graced by several Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Anupam Kher, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
