London: Kit Harington, Sophie Turner and Liam Cunningham were among the actors to step on the red carpet and reminisce about the years they've spent on set of the hit HBO series, 'Game of Thrones'.
"It would've been a disgrace if we hadn't had the big premiere here and this is home for it. This has been, it's just been such a good news story for everybody, for Northern Ireland, for the tourism here, for the people in the industry that trained up. They had an opportunity to show what they can do. All the actors - none of them were movie stars in the beginning of this or TV stars. And everybody's stock has gone up," said Cunningham.
Kit Harington remembered the boring off days when he forged the deep friendships with his co-stars while wandering around the city. But he also recalled his joyous wrap party moment when he thought he could DJ.
"I got up there for like—Pete Tong, I said to Pete Tong, 'Can I get up and get on the decks?' like a drunken idiot. And he was like, 'Yeah why not?' And so, then I just went like that. (Gestures with hand). No, I wasn't deejaying. I'm not going to say that," said Harington.
Pilou Asbaek had a particular crew member and moment in mind on the red carpet, a certain camera operator whose leg caught fire during a scene and only calmly stopped to put it out when they cut the scene.
