Washington: The iconic TV series Friends is set to hit the big screens this year with all the Thanksgiving episodes.
Fans across the globe are enthralled over the news.
According to media reports, eight classic Thanksgiving episodes, which have been newly remastered in 4K resolution, will be screened, this year, in 700 movie theatres across the United States on November 24 and 25. The two-day screening will show four episodes a day.
The hit NBC sitcom, which ran for 10 years, marked its 25th-anniversary last month. The show chronicled the lives of six friends - Joey, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Monica and Chandler in New York as they continue to share a lot of Thanksgivings together.
From the time Chandler despairingly made jokes from inside a box, to Rachel who tried and failed to make a trifle, to proving that Joey will eat anything and everything yet again and to the time Monica put a turkey on her head prompting Chandler to accidentally profess his love, fans can rewatch all of these moments on big screens again.
Tickets are expected to go on sale from Friday on Fathom Events, which is owned by AMC Entertainment.
