Hyderabad:Television actor Rubina Dilaik, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month, has shared a glimpse of her battle with COVID-19. The actor has shared a video on her YouTube channel wherein she is seen getting emotional while acknowledging the love and care of her family and fans.
Dilaik on May 1 informed her fans that she has tested positive for COVID, through an Instagram post. The actor, who is staying with her family in her hometown Shimla, Himachal Pradesh has opened up about testing COVID 19 positive and what she went through while battling the virus.
Lately, Rubina has been sharing pictures and videos from her Shimla diaries on Instagram while recovering from the virus. On Monday night, Rubina dropped a video on her YouTube channel which she described as "My covid recovery journey was full tears, gratitude, love and healing."

In the video, Rubina urges fans to take the current situation seriously and get tested if they have any symptoms and do not treat it as a case of seasonal flu. While expressing her gratitude for having a supportive family and caring husband, Rubina said with tears in her eyes, "I was thinking of sharing this with you all for a long time. I am extremely blessed, I would say, that I have an amazing family, a loving and caring husband, totally loving and supporting parents. My sisters are amazing, I am extremely grateful. Of course, my fans, I have been reading the wishes."
On the work front, Rubina has reprised her role of Saumya in the daily show Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki after two years. Meanwhile, Rubina's husband Abhinav Shukla recently jetted off to Cape Town, South Africa, to shoot for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
