Bigg Boss 13 is a challenge for Sidharth Shukla!

Actor Sidharth Shukla, who is one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 13, says that the new show is nothing but a challenge for him. The show started airing on Sunday night.

Mumbai: Balika Vadhu fame Sidharth Shukla might have featured in many reality shows, but Bigg Boss 13 is a challenge for him, unlike others.

The actor said that since he has always been a pampered child, it would be a challenge for him to do everything on his own inside the Bigg Boss house.

"It's a challenge, one I had never thought I would take. I have been a pampered boy, the youngest in the family with two elder sisters. I have always had someone around me, usually my mom, to take care of everything for me. This is going to be quite a challenge for me, to do everything on my own," he said.

Sidharth has earlier been part of popular reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, where he enhanced his dancing skills and faced his fears in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, where he came out as a winner.

Talking about Bigg Boss 13, the actor said, "I think I would take part in a lot of tasks, in fact in every task and would want to win because I usually play to win and I really wish it gets the best out of me rather than the other way around," said Sidharth.

When asked about his strategy to survive on the controversial show, Sidharth said he just wanted to give his best.

"It's a game, you can't predict. The best is to be yourself! And I am planning on giving it my best, fingers crossed."

Bigg Boss is back with its original concept in the 13th season as the housemates will be celebrities only unlike other seasons. Rashami Desai, a former co-star of Sidharth also features in the show.

Talking about the reprise of the original theme of the show, Sidharth said, "It's great that the show has gone back to its original format which is having only celebrities this season. Many of us may have worked with each other and I am looking forward to meeting everyone inside the house. Good or bad, time will tell."

The Bigg Boss 13 contestants will stay inside the Bigg Boss house and will have to compete in challenges, all this while being monitored by TV cameras. The contestant who survived till the end will be the winner of the show.

The celebrities have to give up all the luxuries, including their phones and live in the Bigg Boss house.

Bigg Boss 13, hosted by superstar Salman Khan started airing on Sunday night.
