Abhinav Kohli accuses Shweta Tiwari of 'abandoning their son for KKK 11, latter hits back

Shweta Tiwari, who has jetted off to Cape Town, South Africa for the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, is accused of 'abandoning her son by her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli.

Hyderabad: Television actor Abhinav Kohli has accused his estranged wife Shweta Tiwari of abandoning and hiding their son Reyansh Kohli. Shweta, who is in Cape Town for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 has however refuted the claims.

In a series of videos, Abhinav has accused Shweta of abandoning their son Reyansh Kohli and leaving for Cape Town for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Reacting to Abhinav's claims on social media, the Kasautii Zindagi Kay star has revealed that her baby is safe with her family. Shweta has also said that she wanted to take Reyansh along with her but Abhinav didn't give her the consent to do so.

In an interview with a webloid, Shweta said, "I had informed Abhinav over a phone call that I am going to Cape Town and that Reyansh is safe with my family. My mother, my relatives, and Palak (Tiwari) are there to take care of him. Plus, I will always be on video calls with Reyansh in between my shoot. I had informed Abhinav Kohli of everything and I was surprised yet again to see the video he posted."

The 40-year-old actor added, "I really don’t understand the agenda behind it, given that he speaks to Reyansh in the evening over call for about one hour, every day, without fail as per the High Court’s order. To be honest, as per the HC orders he is allowed to speak for only half an hour but he speaks for a longer period but we never stop him. Yet he claims that he doesn’t know where his child is and how he is doing."

Shweta also said that she has made all the arrangements to ensure that Reyansh is safe and is in regular touch with his father as well. Reacting to Abhinav's 'abandoning' claims, Shweta said, "I fail to understand his claims of me abandoning my child when he is very well aware of the safety measures taken."

Shweta was earlier married to Raja Chaudhary. The actor divorced Raja, accusing him of domestic violence, and married Abhinav Kohli in 2013.
