150kg man from Jodhpur is latest dancing sensation on social media

Avinash Purohit, a young man from Rajasthan who weighs around 150kg is the new social media star. His dance performance on Akshay Kumar's song from Khiladi 786 is winning hearts on the internet.

Mumbai: Avinash Purohit, who runs an event management firm in Jodhpur is netizen's latest favourite, courtesy his cute dance moves in a viral video.

Avinash has taken social media by storm with his dance performance on Tera Pyaar Hookah Bar, a song from Akshay Kumar and Asin starrer Khiladi 786 which released in 2012.

In a viral video, Avinash is seen performing at an event which is possibly a sangeet ceremony. A native of Jaisalmer, Mr Purohit is the latest dancing sensation who has caught social media users fancy after Sanjeev Shrivastava aka Dabbu Uncle, a professor from Madhya Pradesh.

In a day and age where social media has created a world in which everyone seems ecstatic, Purohit's viral video has catapulted him to instant fame.

Avinash weighs around 150kg. But, his physical appearance has never seemed to bother him.

In an interview with a local news channel, Purohit said he believes that everyone is gifted with some talent and the other and one needs to tap into that potential to stand out. In his school days, Avinash was bullied about his weight but today it's his physicality which has made him famous.

Avinash, who is enjoying his newfound fame, was taken by surprise when he experienced the power of social media.

The viral video which was uploaded by Avinash's friend on social media has garnered more than 4 mn views by now. The fun gig has made Avinash a household name in Rajasthan.
