Though Brad Pitt has kept numb, speculations have built that Pitt might star in Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen. The director who has earlier worked with Pitt has considered him adding to the lineup.

What! Brad Pitt to star in Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen?

Washington: Academy Award-winning actor Brad Pitt whose last flick Once Upon Time In Hollywood gained immense commendation has got something special on his cards.

Speculations are going strong that actor may reunite with Snatch director Guy Ritchie for his forthcoming directorial venture titled 'The Gentlemen.'

Adding the last-minute scene with Pitt, the film will star Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant and Matthew McConaughey.

A source close to The Hard Case director revealed that Ritchie has earlier enjoyed working with Pitt in one of the Quentin Tarantino directorial ventures, further adding that "he's considering adding him to the lineup."

Mixed reactions erupted in the media related to whether Pitt is locked in for the film.

According to media reports, The Last Black Man in San Francisco actor has been approached for the film. While other reports in the media claimed that the film is already in the can and Pitt's not in it.

Any official statements from Pitt's end have not yet hit the public domain.

Originally titled Toff Guys, the film's name was then changed to Bush until the recent change made to the film's title.

Earlier, actress Kate Beckinsale was signed in for the film who later on exited the project. Replacing Kate Beckinsale, Michelle Dockery was roped in for the film.

Penned by Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies and Guy Ritchies, The Gentlemen is scheduled to release on January 24, 2020.
